Malik Ameer Crumpler is a poet, rapper, music producer and editorthat’s released several albums, short films and five books of poetry. He’s the co-editor of Paris Lit Up, The Opiate, Those That This and Visceral Brooklyn. Malik has an MFA in Creative Writing from Long Island University, Brooklyn. He curates/hosts Poets Live, Paris and The Wordists. Crumpler also wrote several musicals, monologues, ballets/arias commissioned by Harvest Works NYC, L’Openbach Ecocentric Festival Paris, Composers Now NYC, Firehouse Space Brooklyn, Dixon Place NYC, Liberation Dance Theater Brooklyn, Association of Performing Arts Professionals NYC, Native Tongue Brooklyn Actors Fund Theater, Rush Arts Galleries NYC, Love Yourself Project NYC, Panoply Lab Brooklyn, B’AM Paris, B’AM Vancouver, On-Point Brussels, and Double Wei Factory, Hong Kong.
